![]() ![]() If God is truly the greatest good on this earth, would He be loving us if He didn’t draw us toward what is best for us (even if that happens to be Himself)? Doesn’t His courting, luring, pushing, calling, and even “threatening” demonstrate His love? If He didn’t do all of that, wouldn’t we accuse Him of being unloving in the end, when all things are revealed? ![]() As much as we want God to explain himself to us, His creation, we are in no place to demand that He give an account to us.Ĭan you worship a God who isn’t obligated to explain His actions to you? Could it be your arrogance that makes you think God owes you an explanation? ![]() He has more of a right to ask us why so many people are starving. The answer to each of these questions is simply this: because He’s God. ![]() In our world, where hundreds of things distract us from God, we have to intentionally and consistently remind ourselves of Him.īecause we don’t often think about the reality of who God is, we quickly forget that He is worthy to be worshiped and loved. ![]()
